A very effective way to repair your credit is to get any negative credit informtion removed from your credit report. This can be done simply and fast by disputing anything on your report that is unverifiable or inaccurate. You can remove anything that is not 100% correct and that is final. And then start to build credit history.
And a lot of it is inaccurate I can tell you. From the way the system is set up all kinds of entries that get recorded can be disputed.
And believe it or not it is possible to do-it-yourself. There is no need to hire an expensive credit repair lawyer to write letters to the bureaus for you. Many times the documents that the lawyer will prepare for you are simple standrad, so they just print off a copy and fill in your name and details. There is a thing called do-it-yourself credit repair.
And don’t think you need to use a credit repair agency. A lot of the time these are not even qualified lawyers, they are simple normal members of the public who have discovered that credit repair is not difficult and are pitching themselves as experts. They may look like experts but they only survive because the average man in the street doesn’t have a clue about credit. They won’t save you any money.
If you use someone else to repair your credit remember they are not doing it they are advising you. You cannot just pay them a fee and then not hear from them until your score hits 720. Only you can dispute things and negotiate for better terms so you will be invloved from start to finish. So the third party is really superfluous.
You just have to teach yourself what to do in the correct manner. It is a matter of following a procedure correctly rather than having any license or any particular training. This is what people mean when they talk about do-it-yourself credit repair.
